4th Of July Celebration

It's that time again!  The BIGGEST Annual Event at Blue Ridge Shores.

Since July 4th is on a Friday, we are sure that most members and guest will be arriving to the lake on the earlier side of the weekend for all the festivities.  Back by popular demand... the Wienie Roast and Parade!!

The CSC is sponsoring the wienie roast, all are invited to partake in the free hot dog dinner.  This is sure to bring our community together!  It will be followed by the big parade.  If you are interested in participating in the parade you should contact Fred Gruber, email: fredthejazzman@comcast.net.  And that is just the beginning!

All day Saturday and into Sunday there will be Food, Fun, Games, Competition and Camaraderie for all ages.  Last year we added a few new things to the mix.  This year we may surprise you again by bringing your suggestions to life and bringing back some old favorites we didn't have the manpower to pull off.  Which brings us to another very important announcement.

A CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

Your help is needed to assist in organizing, coordinating and orchestrating all of the fun and excitement of the day.  We need leaders, folks behind the scenes and on the ground in the fray to help us pull this event together.  The July 4th committee meets every month, watch the community calendar .  Feel free to contact Christine Corrieri @ 804.525.6566 or email: docsauntcc@yahoo.com  or July4.brs@comcast.net

We need your support, anything you are willing to give:  GOODS, SERVICES, MATERIALS, TIME, you can spare will be greatly appreciated and for an awesome cause.... OUR COMMUNITY!! BLUE RIDGE SHORES!!
